The UHB-ZK series mortar pump is a type of cantilevered single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, made with a steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding wear resistance. This pump is specially designed for the transport of corrosive media containing particles or crystals. The impeller is a semi-open type, which enhances the passage capacity of the flow channel. The mechanical seal includes three types: A k-type dynamic sealing ring with an external cooling water device, and an external corrugated mechanical seal, ensuring both corrosion and wear resistance requirements. It is suitable for clear liquids as well as slurries. Its wear resistance is 6-7 times greater than that of carbon steel and stainless steel, while also featuring self-lubrication with a low coefficient of friction. It is the optimal choice to replace expensive wear-resistant alloy materials.
This series of pumps follow the IS02858 and GB/T5656 standards, and the pump interface dimensions are designed to replace chemical pumps such as ZS and ZG, ensuring compatibility, high efficiency, and low vibration.
The UHB-ZK series corrosion- and wear-resistant mortar pumps are widely used in industries such as flue gas desulfurization, non-ferrous metal smelting, paper-making, sulfuric acid and phosphatic fertilizer production, petroleum and chemical industries, fine chemicals, electricity generation, metallurgy, water treatment (sewage disposal), mining, etc.
The UHB-ZK series mortar pump is manufactured using a steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene molding process, providing excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding wear resistance.
The structure of the UHB-ZK series mortar pump is designed as a cantilevered front-opening type. The impeller is semi-open (without a front cover), which improves the passage capacity of the flow channel, allowing particles and impurities in the medium to pass quickly through the pump chamber without clogging.
The UHB-ZK series mortar pump is highly customizable. The mechanical seal uses a K-type fluoro rubber sealing ring with an external cooling water jacket. Depending on customer requirements, the type of mechanical seal can be changed, such as opting for an external corrugated mechanical seal.
The bearing housing components of the UHB-ZK series mortar pump are lubricated with grease, preventing issues such as oil leakage, bearing slippage, and excessive temperature rise, which could lead to bearing damage.
An optional dry-run protector can be installed to prevent damage caused by dry running.
Applications: Applicable Industries: Flue gas desulfurization, non-ferrous metal smelting, paper-making, sulfuric acid and phosphatic fertilizer industries, petroleum and chemical industries, fine chemicals, electricity generation, metallurgy, water treatment (sewage disposal), mining, etc.
Applicable Processes: Widely used in processes involving acids, alkalis, saltwater, ammonia, alcohols, ketones, ethers, oils, alcoholic beverages, organic solvents, etc. It is particularly suitable for transporting highly corrosive media with fine particles.
Product Use: Suitable for transporting slurries with a solid content of up to 40% that are neutral or corrosive. It performs excellently in desulfurization, denitrification, fertilizer production, and salt production industries.
Material: The shell and front cover of the UHB-ZK corrosion- and wear-resistant mortar pump are made using a steel-lined ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) molding process. All pump flow components are also made from steel-lined UHMW-PE. UHMW-PE is the latest generation of engineering plastics for pumps, offering the best wear resistance, impact resistance (especially low-temperature impact resistance), creep resistance (resistance to environmental stress cracking), and excellent corrosion resistance. UHMW-PE has 4 times the wear resistance of PA66 (Nylon 66) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), and 6-7 times the wear resistance of carbon steel and stainless steel. Its impact strength is 4 times that of ABS engineering plastics, and it remains stable even at temperatures as low as -190°C. It also has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand various corrosive media (acids, alkalis, salts, ammonia) and organic solvents within specific temperature and concentration ranges. After immersion in over 80 organic solvents at room temperature to 100°C for 30 days, there were no abnormal phenomena, and its physical properties remained almost unchanged. Due to the chemical stability of UHMW-PE, it is also suitable for use in the food industry. Additionally, UHMW-PE has strong anti-adhesion properties, similar to PTFE, making it highly effective for transporting media with higher viscosity.
